A classic and super easy Japanese recipe!

Even before I moved to Japan this had been on my radar as one of my favourite comfort dishes to make at home. For those unfamiliar with Japanese curry, its texture is slightly thicker than most Indian curries and also a little sweet.

I went the classic route of including pork and potatoes in my curry but you can include just about any protein and veggies you like and it will be absolutely delicious!

Nutrition information:

  • Rice: ~70g carbs
  • Potatoes: ~20g carbs
  • Curry roux (per 2/3 big scoops): ~3-6g carbs (please check the nutrition info for your curry roux)

Total: ~93-96g carbs
